McNaha House is a 3 bedded mixed gender provision for children and young people with Physical & Learning Disability, and complex Health needs aged 9-18 years of age.
Shared care & long stays may be provided following an impact risk assessment and an assessed need. Each referral is assessed on an individual basis to ensure the needs of the individual child could be met and relevant training is available for health care tasks etc.
At McNaha House, we provide a warm, relaxed friendly & nurturing environment for children & Young people in our care enabling them to live in a home environment, an alternative to hospital.
Our trained and dedicated staff team with nursing oversight provide care and support such as treatment, medication, symptom management, personal care such as washing & dressing promoting children’s independent living skills.
Our staff also support children to access the community, education & work placements enabling & exposing them to the same opportunities as their peers and lead a more fulfilling life.
As well as supporting individuals to grow their independence and fulfil their potential, complex care at home also provides parents and advocates with essential respite, advice and support.
